• Welcome to Course 1, first part (WxW) Word by Word. WxW is a Listening, Reading & Speaking course! You can learn how to make all the sounds of English by practicing how to say, spell and understand over 1600 words in this course. The practice exercises for meaning can also be used as test material.

There are about 200 muscles involved with making speech, but each language uses a different subset of these muscles. So you have many speech muscles that have never been used. You need to find them and wake them up. To do this, you need to revisit your early years and stretch your facial muscles. Here is a great exercise to get you started. Remember, these muscles have been sleeping for almost your entire life.
