Preposterous Prepositions – Part 2
About Course
Having learned to work with noun-to-noun preposition phrases (N-N) to create locational, abstract, motion and time relationships, it is now time to learn to combine these phrases into sentences. Beginning with simple N-N + V-N sentences we add direct and indirect objects (N-N + Vn-N) and (N-N + VN-N), then study adverbial phrases and the various roles preposition phrases play as sub-sentence units. Finally, preposition phrases are contrasted with phrasal verbs.
